About Alpha Theta Xi
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
Our purpose is to create a divine sisterhood among elite and exceptional women of Second Life built on the principals of character, respect, and diversity. We aim to be of service to the community and to provide a platform for women's empowerment as well as independence. Where building solidarity through sisterhood using innovation, creativity, leadership, and unity creates a platform to enhance the quality of growth in the SL community.
Alpha Theta Xi is a virtual sorority founded on December 1, 2016 by Ayah Marie Aiello . Our mission is to create a divine sisterhood among elite and exceptional women of Second Life, while committing our time to public service. We strive to provide a platform for women empowerment, prosperity and independence. Our colors are magenta, white, purple, and grey. They are a combination representing harmony, balance, purity, wholeness, solidarity, spirituality, imagination, and dreams. We are represented by the white dove which symbolized purity, love, and peace.
Our motto is a quote from the late great Audrey Hepburn, "For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone."
The members of our sorority originate from different backgrounds, but are united as one in our shared values and together we stand as the sisters of Alpha Theta Xi Sorority Inc.

Why are we Royalties?
Alpha Theta Xi members are called Royalties because royalties are timeless and everlasting. Royalties are unique and considered a gift to the world. We are a group of unique young women that each possess a special characteristic and value. Royalties are rare and trendsetters. We are natural born leaders that pave the way for everyone to walk in our paths behind up. We are the original creators of everything that we do, therefore, we are Royalties.
Royalties are also defined as 'leader of royal blood or status'. As a member of Alpha Theta Xi, you become a part of our "Royal" family. We aim to be of a high status and sit on a throne at the head of the Greek world. When a member of Alpha Theta Xi is in your presence, she shine and exuberates when she enters a room. You will know she is Royalty because of her class, stance, status, and the confidence she walks with.
As women, we should all be treated as royalty and valued. Women are the toughest of beings created. We are royalty because we sit at the top of our thrones as badass bosses/women. All of our members are tough, driven, motivated, hard-working, and possess all of the characteristics of Royalty.
